The Gathering of Elders offers Zen practitioners age 60 and older an opportunity to explore the realities and possibilities of this stage of life and how to continue Zen practice in a way that is both meaningful and sustainable. The program will include zazen, discussion, and movement exercises.
Lodging:
Most participants are expected to make their own lodging arrangements at nearby inns or hotels. We recommend the Silver Star Inn, which is just a short drive from the dojo. Additional lodging options are available in the Spring Green area. Limited accommodations are available at the dojo. If you are interested in staying at the dojo, please contact Gordon Greene Roshi.
Meals:
Meals are provided beginning with dinner on Thursday evening and concluding with breakfast on Sunday morning.
Fee:
There is no set fee for this gathering but appropriate donations from participants are what make it possible to offer this form of training.
