Introduction to Zazen (seated meditation)
Description: Are you new (or returning) to meditation and want to learn the fundamentals? This two-hour “crash course” will introduce you to the Rinzai Zen seated meditation. You will learn:
- the physical fundamentals: how to sit, what to do with your hands, your breath, and your attention 
- what to do when distractions arise (because they will) 
- responses to students’ most often asked questions 
When: This course is offered the following Sundays in Fall 2019 from 7-9 pm.
September: 8, 22
October: 6, 20
November: 3, 17
** Classes start promptly at 7 pm; we recommend you arrive by 6:50 pm.
What to bring: Yourself! Cushions and materials are provided.
Donations: The Dojo is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization powered by contributions. Participants are encouraged to leave a donation of $10-20 for the class.
